According to the article, it will reach speeds of 55mph and only cost $850!
Now all we need to do is figure out a way to make 6'4" 270lb males not look dumb riding one....

Give it enough clearance and wide enough tires to make it down my country dirt road... and storage capacity to run under dense forest cover... then sign me up!
You've touched on a very sensitive topic to me... what if our government put all the money going to the war toward the development and distribution of solar power in the US? With all the advances in technology, shouldn't some type of high density inexpensive solar panel be available to everyone who needs to keep their milk cold?

Hundreds of billions of dollars could be better allocated anywhere but Iraq. This would be a good start, if not solar power then hydrogen power for our vehicles. The problem is the oil companies have enough lobbyists to keep us on fossil fuels until there's none left.
